Installing Macromedia Adobe FlashMX to Run Open SWF Files

Neither Adobe Flash Player nor Adobe Shockwave Player will play SWF files that are in files on your computer. It will be necessary to install a program that will do this. Flash MX is an Adobe program that will do this.

How to Configure a POP3 Server

As a network administrator, it is your responsibility to ensure the networks security. Keeping the network secure requires proper configurations of all network protocols, components and services. Each configuration is a direct reflection of your companys security, user and network policies, in that each configuration is outlined specifically in each given policy. The POP3 configuration is no exception to these rules. Without properly configuring your POP3 Server, you cannot block access, log attacks, or secure this portion of your network.

Instructions

1. Step 1

   Open your IMail Administrator found within your POP3 server console. Expand the "Localhost" folder. Scroll down and expand the "Services" folder. Scroll down within "Services" and select "POP3."

2. Step 2

   Select "Log Options" for your POP3 server. Begin with "Log To." Select the Log option of your choice from the drop-down list. Do not, however, choose "No Log" as it will not keep records which can aid you in pinpointing attacks or illegal or inappropriate use by users. Choose between "sysMMDD.TXT" which will send the log to the spool directory and label events by the month and day of its occurrence. Selecting "Windows Application" to store logs is a good choice, perhaps, for a small network, your best option for log storage for a large network is "Log Server."

3. Step 3

   Select "Use APOP" to authenticate and encrypt user information and passwords. Select "Enable XTND XMIT command" only if you are using WinQVTNet as it needs the "XTND XMIT" feature for the network to receive and transmit outbound messages.

4. Step 4

   Select "Allow remote password changes" only if it is allowed per your companys User and Security Policy. This feature is not required and can prove to be dangerous as it may leave a window open to attackers. You can set up password changes such as reminders for users to change their after a predetermined amount of time. This task can easily be administered by enabling password changes within user authorizations and preferences.

5. Step 5

   Select "Auto-deny possible hack attempts" to deny access to ports that have been ruled out as dangerous and vulnerable. Vulnerabilities would include access points which this will prevent, and dangers would include viewing, copying, or using sensitive or classified information after access is gained. Select "Enable Dedicated SSL link" to secure and encrypt network data. Do not use the default port; it is considered a known port and easy to attack. Use the port for SSL that is designated in your companys security policy.

6. Step 6

   Edit "Hello" or "Welcome" messages. Select "Advance Tab." Change messages to prevent hackers. This message could be something as simple as a cyberlaw, US Code, or a list of penalties for attempting to breach your network. Select "Apply" once you have made this and all of the above changes.

Although a C++ programmer can use a header file to include any type of code in another file prior to compilation, they mainly use them to define a class. Typically programmers define a class interface in a header file and then write all of the class internal code in a separate source code file. In this way other programmers making use of the class directly or as part of a library need only the header file to inform themselves and the compiler how to use it. A simple class interface defined in a C++ header file can serve as both an example and a template for much larger more complex classes later.

Creating a Header File

1. Step 1

   Create a new file named "MyClass.h." Enter the following three lines at the top of the file:
   
   #ifndef _MYCLASS
   #define _MYCLASS
   #endif
   
   The class will be defined between the line beginning with #define and the one beginning with #endif. These are preprocessor directives which tell the compiler to skip inclusion of this files contents if _MYCLASS has already been defined. If _MYCLASS is undefined, the compiler will define it and proceed to include the rest of the file. This prevents you from accidentally including a header file more than once, which can lead to conflicts and errors.

2. Step 2

   Enter the following two lines after the line beginning with #define:
   
   #include
   using std::string;
   
   This example class requires a string data type. The first directive includes the header file for the string class; the second statement simplifies its use by telling the compiler which namespace to make available. Rather than typing "std::string" everywhere, you use a string you can just type "string."

3. Step 3

   Enter the following before the line with the #endif directive:
   
   class MyClass
   {
   };
   
   This defines an empty class.

4. Step 4

   Fill the empty class by inserting the following lines within the opening and closing brackets:

   You have added one private class data member of type string and three public class method declarations: a constructor and two methods for accessing the data member. Cross-SKU upgrades (for example, Windows 7 N to Windows 7 K) are not supported. Upgrades from Windows Vista to Windows N, Windows K, Windows KN, or Windows E are not supported. Cross-build type in-place upgrades are not supported.

4. Step 4

   In another development, Microsofts business depends on running millions of programs that stretch back decades, supporting many numbers of peripherals, and giving a platform for thousands of competing manufacturers who make everything from handhelds and tablet PCs to many data-centre mainframes. But with luck you will not see too many of these lies, and on the surface, Windows 7 is impressively fine. Windows 7 is a long way from being perfect, and its not an essential migration if youre happy with XP. But nor is there a real reason to avoid it. Windows 7 is simply the best edition of Windows you can get.

5. Step 5

   This one gets all the press, but its really more a product of Aero Peek than anything clever in and of itself. Basically it takes some ideas from the Mac OS X dock like larger icons and application launcher duties place whether the application is open or not, a melding of Windows old Quick Launch Bar into the taskbar proper, and adds in traditional Windows taskbar activity like the viewing of open windows. The default performance is fine, which keeps everything stacked in its respective icon, but the real money is in the combine when taskbar is full view, which can be accessed from the taskbar properties. This brings the profits of verbose item names, that always a big win for Windows over Mac OSs icons-only approach. So, Windows 7 is a better operating system than any other operating systems from the Windows.

Well, if that is the case then I wouldnt suggest a camera for you at all but rather a program and a microphone. Let me explain, there are freeware programs out there but Im not sure on what website for sure, first try downloads.com , but they record the output of your video card and turn it into a file that you could edit later. Whatever you do on the screen would be recorded. Then you could add a sound of your voice into the video saying whatever it is that you are doing. If you used a camera to record the computer monitor then it would turn out to be bad quality and be more expense then it is worth.
